An oil lamp is an object used to produce light continuously for a period of time using an oil-based fuel source. The use of oil lamps began thousands of years ago and is continued to this day, although not commonly anymore. Often associated with stories about genies, fictional creatures who live in oil lamps.
Oil lamps are a form of lighting, and were used as an alternative to candles before the use of electric lights. Starting in 1780 the Argand lamp quickly replaced other oil lamps still in their basic ancient form. These were, in turn, replaced by the kerosene lamp in about 1850. In small towns and rural areas these continued in use well into the 20th century, until such areas were finally electrified, and light bulbs could be used for lighting.
The lamps is kept on during the night and one's house is cleaned, both done in order to make the goddess Lakshmi feel welcome. Firecrackers are burst because it is believed that it drives away evil spirits.

"Mankind errs here
By folly, darkening knowledge. But, for whom

That darkness of the soul is chased by Light (of the Lord),
Splendid and clear shines manifest the Truth
As if a Sun of Wisdom sprang to shed
Its beams of dawn. Him mediating still,
Him seeking, with Him blended, stayed on Him,
The souls illuminated take that road
Which hath no turning back—their sins flung off
By strength of faith. Who will, may have this Light;
Who hath it, sees."—Bhagavad-Gita, Ch: V, Lines 50-60

That beautiful picture was taken from Orchha, Madhya Pradesh INDIA.
The farmers use to make this kind of Hut to dry some special plants, so the plants can be protected from Aunts and many small insects. Some farmers use to have little shadow for resting when the sun is burning. I
took this picture from one of my friend's land, his father is farmer, and uses to make this kind of thing.

Paris love lock Bridge is something very well known in France and Europe. More then 15 thousand people walk on it everyday and thousand of Parisienne come to make picnic on it.

Many  couples have been coming here from all over the world to show their undying love.

They do it by placing a lock with their names written on it on one of the fences and then throw the key into the river. I liked the whole concept except the fact that you have to throw your key into the river. Mainly, because I didn’t want to pollute the river and secondly, I didn’t want to get arrested for what is essentially littering.

I’m not sure if the Parisian police plan on continuing to cut down the locks – they’ve done it in the past but they don’t seem to be cracking down on it. There are multiple street vendors selling locks on and around the bridge. And now there are two bridges in Paris covered with these locks. But be careful which bridge you choose: one is for your committed love and the other, Pont de l’Archevêché, is for your lover.

Each year people ask things to Ganesha and when they achieve whatever they ask, they offer hundred, thousand even ten thousand coconuts to lord Ganesha.

This picture is one of them, on the left there is a big pile of coconuts and people taking throwing on the flour. People are scared even i was scared of braking my camera but thanks to Ganesha it didn't happen. Things are moving so fast and therefor i got wonderful picture of it.

Again blasting of thousand coconuts. You may wondering what do they do after with all those coconuts ? I explain you here; There is a municipal lorry and workers behind who continue among the festival to collect all the coconuts and to clean the street immediately because of the traffic. All the coconuts go in the rubbish bin some some people take some of them as a sweet from lord Ganesha but 98% of them go in the rubbish.

The man is a Devotee of god Ganesha, people say that the man is having a spirit of lord Ganesha.
People also say that he is suffering to erase his own sins. We don't know the reality, what ever i found out, the man is so tired of holding this heavy thing on his solder during eight hours plus dancing whole day, i think, he lost him self, he doesn't  know whatever he is doing. He is falling, he doesn't care who is around, he …. he just doesn't know where is he…….

Please write down your opinion
